Llanishen, Cardiff, Tue Apr 25 13:44:40 2006 Merthyr Mawr: 22nd - Painted Lady (1), Green-veined White (1) and Brimstone (3). Roath: 23rd - Early Grey, Double-striped Pug and E. postvittana in trap, however there was a Marbled Beauty caterpillar on wall nearby. I have trapped many adults but this is the first larva I have seen.

Marbled Beauty Out of County (Cornwall nr. St. Just VC1): 3 nights trapping sofar has produced: Brindled Ochre (1 fem.), Pale Pinion, A. subpropinquella, Knot-grass, Dark Sword-grass and Rush Veneer + all the usual suspects at this time of year. Keep you posted.
